If only all gold diggers were elegant and wore Givenchy. . .le sigh.  Oh hush, don’t act as if you’re outraged.  Holly escorted men for money and gifts, “gold-digger” is me being diplomatic.  Audrey was actually cast because her looks were the antithesis of trashy so she added her own spin to the Holly character from Truman Capote’s book, Breakfast at Tiffany’s.  She was a Givenchy devotee and the dress worn in this scene is by the label.  May I please just point out. . .Bagels and Diamonds!  See, clearly I’m not the ONLY one who thinks it’s a killer combo.
